Tamika Lynch, a native of Newport News, now resides in the city of Richmond, Virginia alongside her husband of 10 years and 3 young sons.
Following high school graduation, Tamika attended and received a Bachelors in Sociology and Masters of Education in Counseling from Virginia State University. Presently, Tamika is pursuing a PhD in General Psychology at Grand Canyon University. Tamika is both owner and director of Tag Services, a local private mental health agency and is also founder of Women of Audacity.
Tamika is a strong advocate for the empowerment of the “total woman”. She understands the importance and relevancy of advocating for women due to her acute awareness of the gaps which sometimes exist between the needs of women and the systems in place which sometimes fail them.
Her professional interests focus on collaborative approaches to improving the mental and physical health of women and their families, fostering a nurturing environment for women to learn, grow, and thrive into the beings that they were created to be, and encouraging as well as promoting women to become major agents of change within their local communities.
Tamika is an active member of her local church (HOPE Christian Ministries), member of the National Association of Professional Women. She is an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star (PHA), dedicated wife, mother, sister, and friend. She enjoys traveling locally and abroad.
